#19 - Reminds me of various studies on how microglia can destroy synapses in animal models of AD. In combination with the fact that women have a higher prevalence of AD than men, and women have higher rates of autoimmune issues generally, I guess I place some weight on AD eventually turning out to be some kind of microglia autoimmune disease?
